RWANDA: 9 winners designated for the 7th Francophone Trophies

7ème Trophées Francophones

The 7th edition of the Francophone Cinema Trophies closed its doors with the award ceremony on Saturday, December 4 at the Intare Conference Arena in Kigali (Rwanda). These 7th Trophies designated nine winners in different categories.

Best Screenplay Trophy:

The miracle of the unknown saint of Alaa Eddine Aljem (Morocco)

Best Short Film Trophy:

Brotherhood by Meryam Joobeur (Tunisia)

 Best Supporting Actor:

 Serge Kanyinda for his role in Maki’La (Democratic Republic of the Congo)

Best Supporting Actress:

Yamie Grégoire in the movie Kuessipan (Canada)

Trophy for Best Documentary Feature:

 Le Loup d’Or de Balolé by Chloé Aïcha Boro (Burkina Faso).

Best Director:

Joël Karekezi for his film Mercy of the Jungle (Rwanda)

Best Feature Film:

Capharnaüm by Nadine Labaki (Lebanon)

Best Male Interpretation:

Zain Al Rafela for his play in Capharnaüm (Lebanon)

Best female interpretation:

Hend Sabri in Noura rêve (Tunisia)

The Francophone Cinema Trophies are organized by the Association des Trophées Francophones du Cinéma (ATFCiné)
